Bleeding Shards
Too small to pick up
Needing to re-assemble, but unable to find a way how
Longing to re-direct the brick that caused so much pain
Slowly fading from their former glory

Broken Glass
Chunks of a former life litter the floor
It makes me think of how you treated me
Beating me until I couldn't take anymore
Kicking me, unable to hear my plea
Maybe you just didn't want to

Dislocated Fragments
Bloody and crying at your feet,
Begging to be free,
Tainted and admitting defeat

Smashed Pieces
Barely holding on to life
Their only hope being your help
Instead, you cut their throat with your knife
You wince as you hear them yelp

Cracked Mirror
Reflecting the multiple sides of you
They say breaking a mirror brings bad luck
I guess this'll prove if it's true
Not that you give a fuck

Defeated Tears
Slowly dribbling down my cheek
Your clammy hands around my throat
There's nothing I can do but squeak
As you bash me over the head with the remote

Crushed Glass
I collapse into a heap on the floor
Someday you'll get what you deserve
Yet you break me some more
I guarantee they've got a spot in hell on reserve

I've been shattered
Bruised and battered
My ashes, scattered
Not that I ever mattered
