Colors Of My Rainbow

Heavenly arches fill the sky
Sparkling beauty, so typical to you
But what would happen if the happiness were to die?
Something most believe to be untrue
Alas, you think I lie

Well, step inside and secure you're joy
Leave your love behind, as if it died
Don't think of this as something you'll enjoy
It's not going to be a pleasant ride

Scarlet (Pain)
The color of blood,
The skin I've shed in search of the truth,
The flood seeping from an open wound,
The things I've seen as a sleuth,
And every time I feigned a swoon

Indigo (Numb)
The state of my gloomy mind,
My self-inflicted bruises,
Every time I was left behind,
Falling for your clever excuses,
And for every day I walked around blind

Emerald (Contentment)
How I wish to be,
Everything I want to feel,
To be more than debris,
Such a life is ideal,
But that is a day I'll never see

Grey (Plain)
To be only one in the crowd
One who blends in with everyone
A different person like me isn't allowed
Therefore I am forced to run

Black (Coverted)
Missing what's in front of my face
Oblivious to the world
My emotions make me a disgrace
So, I'll happily stay curled up
It's not like anybody would notice my fall from grace
