The whole world is confusing; you’re out side of your self;
when you wake up from dreaming, about someone else.

And you can’t quite remember, what passion was like;
but the love of the memory; it still runs your life.

So you turn to your heart, and away from your mind;
But the answers that lie there are still undefined.

When every step going forward, feels like ten steps back;
and you can’t bring your self to fulfill what you lack.

When emotion consumes you, and two years are gone;
you remember the good times, and all that went wrong.

Try to look to the future, try to accept something new;
the answer to your prayers, your dream’s coming true.

When all that surrounds you, brings chaos with in;
mind games with your self that you can’t seem to win.

It’s a balancing act, and you right on the edge;
Fed up with your flaws that you can’t seem to dredge.

This is what it feels like to lose all control.
This is what it feels like, to give up your soul.

When finding a new love, means losing a friend;
and you know your decision will crash in the end.

A plain of emotions I need to express,
We can’t hide the feelings we try to repress.

‘Cause in time we all need to release all the pain;
can’t live with the lies that we try to maintain.

This is what it’s like, to feel too deeply to cry.
