Lonely Spirit No More

Cherry red painted her silken lips
took you over with a glimpse of her eye,
she spoke words of art, poetry, and love,
she was lonesome in disguise.

Electricity bouncing through your veins
once her fingertips met your skin,
addictive was her bittersweet taste,
hypnotized,like love was sin.

Her words, like fire
escaping capture,
burning through your mind,
her breath, getting deeper and more rhythmic,
fogging importance of time.

Your wait was granted
from the devil itself,
she persuaded your begging lips,
the feeling, so foreign, and so unknown,
oh such a forbidden kiss.

Cunning she was,
poisons she does,
the hair on your arm stood aloft,
as she sunk her teeth,
blood red, so deep,
into your innocent neck of soft.

She sucked you empty
of life and thought,
as she left your presence solitary,
you'll never forget the sacred bruise on your neck,
or the girl with lips of red cherry.
