You told me how different you were,
from anyone that i knew,
But your actions spoke louder than words,
and thats why i trusted you.

You proved to me that you loved me,
and that you really did care,
Because everytime i was upset,
you would always be there.

You said you would treat me good,
because thats what i deserved,
And i couldnt help but smile,
when you said those words.

You always told me that i was beautiful,
and how much you loved me,
Ive never smiled so much,
or ever been that happy.

Then you were finally getting your chance,
to make your dream reality,
Dont worry im not going to leave you,
is what you said to me.

But a few days later,
i guess you changed your mind,
b/c You chose to go for it,
and that meant leaving me behind.

I guess the reason it hurt me so much,
is because i trusted what you said,
and i guess when you changed your mind,
it really messed with my head.

but i understand that this is what you want,
and all i really want to do,
is let you know ill always be here,
and that i really do love you.
