Love's Last Hour

I hate they way
Your eyes gently burn.
So lightly faded in the darkness
Surrounding this life
You promised to uphold.
Yet, you burned my heart
With those gently burning eyes.

I hate the fact
Of your love for me.
I want to cast away this love
And renew my falling heart.
Why can't you let me go?
Can you see this loathing?
Or is the fire within your eyes
Blinding you?

I hate the stares
You force yourself to give me.
I want to grasp them with
This rusty and unforgivable knife.
I want to make your veins protrude
Away from your skin
Piercing the very person...
I hate.
