Surely the deep feelings that I enclose
within my heart and in my prose;
perform no justice upon your soul.
Your absence did lay a costly toll.

All that matters in our present day
is your determined resolution to stay.
An essential part of my basis for life;
you have taken from me all my strife.

I thank you my darling daughter dear;
my sole progeny, after so long, so near.
A cherub accepted upon my mind;
