Chapter Of Love

Before you hate me, hear me clearly
I didn’t plan for it to go this far
I meant to get off this ride long ago
But I stayed fastened in my seat
You were my break from reality
My five month trip to paradise
I forgot that vacations don’t last forever
So here I stand, in front of you
Asking you, pleading that you
Don’t judge me for what I must do
Don’t forget what has happened
I really do love you
But this love runs through my blood
Infecting me with so many other things
Every moment has been written in my mind
My Autobiography has a whole chapter on you
How you took me away
Helped me through all the days
So here I am
Asking you, pleading that you
Will let my footprints stay in your heart
Don’t wipe me out of your memory
Because you will forever be in mine
You are my story that’s been told
Now I must turn the page
But there is no end to this love
