Maybe One Day

Sitting here again
Watching everything fall apart
Through shattered windows
Hoping to find new light
I can't help but miss the dark
I'm no longer part of this world
Drifting through what once was reality
Shattered memories
Fearful dreams
Whatever happened to peaceful goodbyes?
Why must we be left with only tears?
I'll try to forget the past
AS I fear for tomorrow
Will happily ever after ever happen?
Will my fairytale ever end?
Can we go back to the way it was?
Say it was all a dream?
Or do i have to live with this
bullet hole through my heart
Fill it with pain
Stitch me back together
With your reasurring words
Maybe one day I'll believe those words
Maybe one day you'll believe them too
