Color me contagious,
The kind of disease
That dissolves into two,
Leaving enough room in the trunk for just you.

Paint me pathetic;
It's what you've made of me.
That was your intention,
Your only selfish theft.

My, you're gorgeous
When you're running out of breath,
Leaving your face blue,
Leaving my heart of ice.

But I'm sure you've heard it all..
How wonderful you are,
How brilliant you seem,
How breathless you've come to be.

Oh, perfection ..
I think I've taken a wrong turn;
This road is too bumpy
With a too few of sharp knives.

I started out as a bitter ex girlfriend,
My love..
Just a friend,
You contradict.

Oh, my first love..
I think I'm going the wrong way;
The sound of the river
Is drowning out your screams.

My heart is thumping,
And my brain is rising:
Adrenalin, Adrenalin,
Oh, you're going too high.

Lover boy,
Oh, love boy..
Where ever did we go wrong?
The sharp turn with your name in her heart..
Or in the river of your blood?
