There once was a boy who was in love with his best friend
He poured his guts out to her, and told her how he felt
But she was in love with another boy, an older boy
The boy felt as if his heart had been wrenched from his chest and that it
would never mend
He watched his friend and the boy fall madly in love
Than he watched the boy break her heart, thinking to himself He'd never do
that to her
He held is friend as she cried, thinking "Who would want to hurt someone who
was obviously sent from above?"
He figured now he'd have his chance
At young love, at true romance
But she still didn't want him

There once was a girl who was in love with her best friend
The boy had loved her once, but didn't love her still
He had moved on to the girls friend, a gorgeous blond
The girl thought he was her soul mate, and that she could get him to love
her again
She tried to win back the boy
By being sexy, flirty, and coy
But he was over her
The girl felt so stupid, she had been so sure
So sure he'd realize they were meant to be
But the blond was all his pretty blue eyes could see
They boy did to the girl, what she had done to him
The girl kicked herself, she had missed her chance with the once boy who
truly loved her
With true romance
But the boy secretly still wanted her
