These Moments

You do run up, steadily from behind,
carefully placing my hand in your hand
So our fingers soon become intertwined
Now we look eye to eye, still we do stand
Then you pull me towards your body fast
You look at me, then press your lips to mine
Lost in this kiss, I'm hoping it will last
I feel truth, passion and beauty divine
I've shared a few of these moments with you
Each time my heart hits harder on my chest
My heart's telling me a message that's true,
when I'm around you, I am at my best
But it seems like we couldn't ever be,
not now, not once, not ever, you and me
