I hope you know I haven't been naughty
and I really want to see my daddy.
I dreamed of him last night,
and in my dream, everything was all right.
I hope you don't think I sound selfish,
but, Santa, please grant my wish.
I don't care about candies and toys
and other wild things that make noise.
I just want to see him,
but everything seems to look dim.
So Santa, please bring him tonight,
so I may see him without fright.
