Covalently speaking
It was amazing
Just like it was in that wreck
Covalently bonded to our cars
Lets just say
It was astonishing to be a flower in the flames
To be one of the new newspaper names

Covalently speaking
Were exhausted, screaming in purgatory
Cause the sunrise is too beautiful for half ass saints
Covalently speaking
Maybe you’ll catch our ghosts on swing sets
Those don’t crash to bad, do they?

Covalently bonded
You can say it was astonishing
To dance in reality
To twirl in imaginary
Maybe you can visit us one day
We’ll be the ones
Covalently screaming in purgatory.
