Clocks

There are tulips growing outside on the tree
There are two lips kissing inside the room, you and me
There's so much fog outside, it's hard to see clearly
But on the inside, all I want to see is you lying near me

There are no rules in this particular moment
As long as we're together every second will be perfectly spent
There are so many words I could possibly say
But they all die on my tongue and get licked away

Another perfect day
Wish we could stay this way
Wish we could stay this way forever

You'll be happy and I'll be close
We'll argue who will be missed the most
When the clocks betray me again

You'll be feeling free at last
We'll reminisce about hours past
When the clocks betray me again
When the clocks betray me again
