Beauty of the Night

Beauty, Passion - brightly in the night
Crickets chirp while stars burst against the dark velvet of the sky,
Outlines of figures stand strong-but not too bold,
Moon glow cascades soft shadows against the darkness of the earth,
Although all is dark, even the dullest seem to glisten,
Shinning with a unique beauty - Their flaws highlighted as their best,
A leaf blows silently, dancing through the air,
Wind chimes dangling from spidery fingers of the trees sing lightly with
their strong voices,
Their songs lingering on each breath of wind,
the grass blows lightly and dances gracefully in the dull breeze,
an owl coos in the distance - sorrow carried in his tone,
Everything fits together - as they all stand on their own,
And for once i feel accepted, although i sit alone,

And then, and suddenly, i saw the morning dawn.

Everything looks better in black and white.
