Dyed black hair and bright green eyes
Smoking, booze, and passive lies
Going home to pain and fear
Never knowing what she'll hear

An abusive father
A mom who doesn't care
Taking daily torment
But never really there

I wonder what she thinks about
If any thing at all,
What her laugh would sound like,
If in love she'll fall

I wish I could understand her
Maybe make her smile,
Take her away from her world of grey,
If only for a while

Maybe some day she'll fall in love
Some one will treat her well
But until that future day arrives
She'll continue on in Hell
