Falling in flames

I've fallen in love with the way the light plays across your face.
The way the shadows somehow make you seem softer.
I wish I were the light and dark, so I could spread myself along you
forever.
To fit you perfectly, and dance against your skin.
I've fallen in love with the way you smile.
I've memorized each line of lip and teeth and the stretch of your cheeks.
The sound of your laugh could penetrate the armor over my heart.
The sound of your voice is magic.
It could lull me to sleep when you sing, but it wakes up my every nerve, it
sets me afire.
And baby, it makes me melt.
I have fallen in love, long ago.
I have fallen in love with every aspect of you.
I have fallen and I am embracing this downward spiral.
I am overwhelmed by you.
I could drown, but you breathe new life into me.
You set my heart on fire.
You make my soul shed it's soot and shine.
