"Learning How To Love The World" The Living Dead

A friend of mine
Said she saw something in the sky
That made her wonder why
We all lie
And we all have to die
She's been thinking
And drinking
On the coldest days
And learning how to pray
Finding out about faith and God
Wondering if thats all she's got
At least thats alot

She wrote me a note, it just said
"I wish i was dead"
And when she started to cry
The stars lost their shine
And we got lost in time
The day the music died

How do you love
In a world thats gone crazy
How do you love
When there's nothing to be proud of
Well, you do what you can
In this wasteland
You put your faith in God above

Life is a series
Of endless tragedies

She wrote me a note, it just said
"I wish i was dead"
And when she started to cry
The stars lost their shine
And we got lost in time
The day the music died

We searched all over town
To see his crown
But all we found
Was another frown
And when she started to cry
The stars lost their shine
And we got lost in time
The day the music died
