As I look into your eyes
I can think of a million things I want to know
Does anyone have your heart right now?
And what is it that makes you glow?
What is on your mind
the moment before you fall asleep?
What aspects of your life can truly make you weep?
How many times have you seemed devastated beyond repair?
How many people in your life can you say has actually been there?
Have you ever had your heart broken and felt like it was the end?
Did you think to yourself “I can never love another like this again!”?
Have you ever thought about crossing that line?
Convinced yourself that dating another female was fine
How many times have you had a sleepless night?
To only wake in the morning and continue the fight

What must a person do to be closer to you?
What must I do to be the one you come to when you’re feeling blue?
How can I show you that I will be here no matter what?
Because I know that we can have something special
I know because I can feel it in my gut!
My heart says I love you
But my mind says this isn’t right
I don’t know that much about you
As far as I know we are as different as day and night
If only I could bring myself to ask you all this
Then maybe I could make you my girl…
And we could live in pure bliss!
