My world,
So lonely and dark,
Then came you,
My morning lark,
Announcing the day,
When all my pain would go away.

I was wrong though,
Because it was all a lie.
You were really a crow,
Announcing all would die.

I don’t know why I dared,
When I did so deeply doubt,
Whether you really cared.
And my heart you did tear out,
When you said I was not the one,
And we were over before we had even begun.
