A Dark Jokeless Jester

Purple and black jester
Tip toeing a ring around my stance
Don’t turn your back on him
He’ll eat you with one lost glance
Creepy music is hopping
Up and down in anticipation
My eyes are fluttering
With the continuing rotation
There might be walls, or a door
But everything is pitch black
Except for that damn jester
Who’s still on his little track
Please someone make his eyes
Look elsewhere for a moment
So I can be rescued from this turning
And all of his sweet torment
Tell me a joke, dear jester
One worth a hearty chuckle
His creepy smile grows bigger
And my knees begin to buckle
I blink and try to erase him
Oh no, what have I done?
He takes this opportunity
To take the deadly lunge
The last image I see is his face
Contrasting make-up has abused it
His sickening smile is outlined in black
His shiny eyes could make you loose it
I’ve heard nothing from him ever
But at this moment he lets out a laugh
His pearly teeth smile devilishly
And I am a slave to his immortal wrath
My vision is black with purple stains
That sick smile will haunt me deep within
His laugh still echoes in my bleeding brain
And in a way, I guess I become him
