Silent Blessings

Up from above this old man stares
Up from above this old man glares
At the world from which he blesses
From the world of which caresses

Thou shall not kill another for his blessing
Thou shall look to god for such a blessing
Through the eyes of this man we see ourselves
Through the eyes of this man we can revive or kill ourselves

It is us who makes our decisions, but it is him who beholds our truth
I am my decision, but who am I against the truth
To fight for the free, but the free being old
Because freedom is not’t free,
God it’s cold

Die for the wonder of the old mans eyes, just to see how it feels
Please let me disguise
Play along with his roads and lights
Lead your self right into his shadow of the nights

I Always wondered why its there
I never looked until the day I fell upon the suns glare
How come it follows for every expression
It beholds every action
And it mimic’s by giving the same exact reaction

Everyday he would look upon us, everyday he would
Bless us, and everyday he would test us

No one on this earth believes this man
No one on this earth knows why he is this little old man
But all for one he has a very strategic plan

He sits upon his balcony, with a paper and a pen
He rests his shoulder on the silver clock
And watches the time go tick to-ck

For every blessing he writes down
He becomes more proud because one more has not let him down
Tick to-ck the clock has stopped
Tick to-ck we have all dropped

Just for him to re-awake us again
With a silent blessing from god to man
