My angel...

You’ve never known loss
Till you've known gain

You’ve never known happiness
Till you've known pain

You’ve never known a tear
Till you known a smile

You’ve never known a heart
Till you've known a break

I watch helplessly as you
Slip through a tunnel of light
Into a world of darkness,
Blackened eyes,
Bloody tears,
Broken wing,
Rusted halo
You may be falling
But you'll always be an angel.
To me...

To me...there was never another that had
that sparkle in their eye,
Nor the same curve to their lips
And silk to there eye lashes.
So many things wrong happen to the best of us.
But soaked in blood and so mutilated to hideousness you'll always be my
angel.
Even with maggots crawling out of your skull
And a stench that would make my skin crawl...
You’ll always be my angel
