Bitter To My Own Taste

Stagnate, yet refreshing
I remember the taste of your lips
Forcing my own suicide
Beside this tryst.

I can close my eyes
And pretend to care
I could scream as loud as I wish
To make you forgive me,
Although I don't deserve it.

I, for a reason unknown, am full
Of this strange emotion;
Contentment to my own desires.
Maybe you were holding my spirit behind...

I've seen you cry
And flounder in your own
Unsatisfying way
Trying to create a jealous gesture
I never even understood.

Is this you in true form?
Full circle to say the least.
I am tired and worn
From the running and screaming.

So let me die tonight, my darling.
Let me taste your stagnate lips
Once more
To end with a poisoned passion
That only you could create.
