Suicidal Rapture

I sit in this sanctuary
Of boarded windows
And trembling doors
Clawing the walls that are moving
To cause a conclusion I have been longing.

I see my life as faded photographs
With a choice few I choose to remember:
My beautiful mother;
And unrelated sister, who I long as my lover;
My darling who brings me to tears of happiness.

So, I sit here alone
Watching these photographs burn
Waiting for my long awaited end.
As soon as the courage is gained
To reveal my broken heart's veins
I disappear
And stand before my final judgment.
My prayers are answered.
