Save Me From This Storm

Here come the clouds again
I remember this thundering storm
One of which even the weather man
Can’t give you any warn
The droplets that fall took years
To be made, specialized to
Bring out the worst of your tears
And the torment that you’ve gone through
Behind the thunder lies the words
That were once so shy and quiet
These whispers that were once unheard
Now create a frightening riot
Dancing in the puddles are memories
Real enough to make you pale
The ripples acting as the remedies
To let that sad ship sail
The wind, with one hard wisp
Stole your blissful smile
It stood steady on your lips
But lasted only for a while
Somewhere in these shadows
Lies the answer to why this weather
Brings water, no longer shallow
And when it’ll all get better
There is a part of you that’s fighting it
Part of you that calls it home
Joined in digging this endless pit
Until the water tears your bone
The ruthless river is overflowing
Gives no mercy as I’m torn
To this rain, always ongoing
Someone save me from this storm
