A Decapitated Tranquility

Hard to tell the thorn from the rose
When it’s in such a twisted pose
When the sheep herd the Shepard
And the spots own the leopard

An upside-down world of wonders
Steal my senses and torture them
Somehow my every wrong gets wronger
In this misinterpreted anthem

Your actions I misunderstand
I can’t deny the creeping thoughts
When you gently hold my hand
I wonder what is and what is not

You're leading me down a road
I hear cars going the opposite way
My eyes shift behind this blind-fold
But I’m helplessly pushed astray

Pricelessly you fool my mind
But with all the minimum stability
You give me butterflies inside
It’s like a decapitated tranquility

Fate will bring our hearts together
Like magnets meant to be
Like a mail man through any weather
Nothing can stop you and me
