Dress me in the light
Of the most beautiful sunrise
Hold my hand
As we run through daisies
Your skin is so soft
As it graces my face
The scent of your neck
Paralyzes my mind
Till all I can see is you
You lay me down
My white dress
Contrasting against the grass
Running your fingertips
Down my chest
Over my body
You consume me
Leaving me only as a ruin
Of your demise
Leaving you alone
Would be the fault of my life
But it is hidden behind your loving eyes
I can feel it
Even through your kiss
I know what is haunting you
And I don’t believe you can leave it behind
I take our mornings
Bottling them in my mind
Saving the scent in my heart
Hoping you won’t leave me here
To return to her hell
That you still find so appealing
I’ll stay as long as you let me
Maybe we can stay till the sun goes down
And still be here in the morning
