Master Plan

I wish I could tell you I had the master plan
That these blue notes weren’t just scribbles
But in all honesty I have no idea
When this rollercoaster will take a plunge
I don’t even know where this train is going
Blindly I run down this road
Because all I know is that, in the end
You’ll be at the finish line for me
But you ask me how we can make it work
Well I’m no mechanic, but there’s nothing to fix
See, I don’t care what morality says
Because I’m just so smitten with your embrace
The way you hold me in the morning
Like the day ahead wouldn’t judge us like it does
People stare at us like it’s a sin
But I smile because I’m the one holding your hand
And I don’t know what the future holds
I’m just content being lost in your eyes
As your smile flows through my veins
And your voice has become the one in my head
We can just run together, wherever we go
Will be home as long as I’m with you
And I’ll foretell our future when I can
But right now there is no master plan
