Burdens of the heart

I never meant to plague you with my imperfections,
to drown you in my insecurities,
and to suffocate you with my jealousy.

You were so great about it.
Let me make my mistakes
and forgave me for them all.

I suppose though that the weight of my flaws,
became unbearable to lift over time.
The ever increasing mass that crushed you.

It hurts me that my faults pained you.
My intentions were never of that.
I'm sorry.
