Mother, I'll Ignore You

Oh you’re a piece of work
Something to be framed
The way your brain ticks
Is a process still unnamed

Twist my words so you can
Punish me in every way
Well, Hun, you’re not the only one
Who can twist what others say

Screaming loudly only makes it
Easier to ignore you
You may be of an older age
But I grew up long before you

You think that we respect you
But in reality, we know you’re a moron
And in the end you’re the one
That we shut all of the doors on

You wish there was a reason why you could hate me
So that you could complain to your friends
But they don’t give a shit about you anymore
See, ignoring you has become a trend

Now, you can play it energizer bunny style
And this could go on, and on, and on
But I think your chances of redeeming yourself
Have so long ago been gone

So, Mother, don’t be foolish
This battle will only cause you pain
And if I were to call a doctor
I’m sure he’d claim you insane
