An Everlasting Funeral Marches Round Your Heart

Someone check my pulse
I'm feeling pale and cold
And I'm praying that the night won’t drag on
Is anybody there?
Who knows this feeling well
My vision is shot I'm starting to tell
That your lifeless body may take from me
A cruel murder I've gone about so horribly
I swear I only meant
A pity stab or two
But as the bloods drips from my nervous hands
There is nothing left to do

Did I mention the part
About this slow fading heart
And the way I don't mean a thing of this
Call it self defense
But I've lost fight to this mess
My fingers too slow to push 911
I wonder how long you can keep breathing
Tonight may be the night you're leaving
My mouth must be filled
With gasoline
You set the spark in my heart
Now you died from me

Paramedics show up
A minute too late
I start to change my mood
I can't resuscitate
You're lifeless lips
Luscious earlier today
You can't love without
Giving your life away

Rest in peace
The tombstone reads
Here lies so many
Unfulfilled dreams
Plans were made
With forever in mind
But lovers must know
It's all a matter of time
Does love exist
Like we think it too
Just take a look
At what it's done to you
