Keep living that pretend life
Keep smiling that fake smile
There's no way to escape
Until the feelings drown you
When it seems her life is perfect
She is dying inside
How does she get out?
Everything is hidden
So no one will see her being real
Now no one can change her
She tells herself not to break
Everything will be all right, someday
When she gets away from this place

Her life is a lie
Shadowed by expectations
One day she will say goodbye
And find someone who knows what its like
But until then she will hide her true face
Keep laughing her fake laugh
And being her fake self
All the while she is slowly drowning
But holding on so she won't die
