"Purple Flowers, Wasted Hours"

Purple flowers
Wasted hours
Bout's of loneliness
And such distress
I know life is a test
You live as the best
But not better than the rest
We all walk with hearts in our chest
Pass them on the street
Don't you feel their needs
And cant you see
They're dying to be free
Just like you and me
Take one more step
And throw the thoughts out of your head
Look west, Look west
And you must confess
You feel less
Less than all the rest
Singing your rhythm and blues
But your points are too few
Heres what you should do
Try something new
Purple flowers
Wasted hours
The jury is still out
On all this doubt
But your still devout
At least with the words that come from your mouth
Don't forget this is the south
Where everything feels
Feels so unreal
Purple flowers
Wasted hours
Heres something you need
A tie that binds you at your knees
Thats still a little discreet
Fading in black and blue, but not enough to see
Like the one on me
Purple flowers
Wasted hours
You been waiting for some time
To fall just to find
What it feels like to bleed
Bleed
Just like me
Purple flowers
Wasted hours
