Shadows reached toward her
embracing, welcoming, accepting
She spreads her arms wide
afraid and yet wanting
Her mind a turmoil of Chaos
eyes filled with uncertainty
A voice calls to her
awakening her from the emptiness
He walks from out of the darkness
As the fog surrounds him
he unfolds his wings
She looks away unable to believe
but her gaze is drawn to him
He takes her away from Death
and brings her to the light
He is her savior; her guardian;
her angel in the darkness
