Maybe I'll forget my seatbelt
While driving just a little to fast
I challenge that curve
And make my chances vast

Maybe I'll take one to many pills
Accidentally forgetting the prescribed amount
Then I'll slip off to bed and lie awake
Simply swearing I can't count

Maybe I'll slip off a bridge
Diving head first
I always wanted to fly
Letting you think my balance was the worst

Maybe I'll wake up hearing my mother sob
And the doctors apologizing to my family
Telling them they did everything they could
Then hearing my best friend scream this can't be

Maybe you'll miss me then
After you see what a broken heart can cause
Maybe you can admit you were wrong
And see past my flaws
