Standing on the edge
and i'm losing my mind,
i want to jump
and sink into the sands of time.
I've been done wrong,
my heart broken in two,
i look down at the water
i'm jumping into.
There's no one to stop me
there's no one that cares.
I look around, then at the water,
and there's no one there.
So i jump and i'm falling
i've left solid ground.
I hit the water
and im sinking down.
Breathing in the water,
it rushes into my lungs,
i've been down here awhile,
and i feel i've won.
But someone's got me
they're pulling me out.
Someone found me
someway, somehow.
Don't touch me,
I've got nothing left,
just leave me to die,
i'll fight to the death.
You can cuff me and stuff me
in the back of this car
but as long as you take me
take me far.
I close my eyes
and the darkness comes
and when i wake up
i don't know where i've gone.
They've got me in a jacket
with shackles on my feet.
Out the window i see
an unfarmiliar street.
Because finding a way
to deal with the pain,
and dying for love
makes them consider you insane.
The horrors i experienced
and the things i've seen
make falling asleep
impossible for me.
Eyes open or closed,
it's all the same,
i can hear the darkness
calling out my name.
