she talked with you
moved in like an eagle to its prey.
i watched helplessly
as she stroked your ego.
my frustration was evident
yet you did nothing
causing me to explode with rage.
i fought back my jealousy
but you fed into it
with your complancency.
i didn't want to be that girlfriend
but you left me no choice.
the last straw will be all too soon
if you don't shape up.
you asked for her number,
i was there.
you smiled back,
i was there.
you were tempted,
i was there.
you left me bitter,
i was there.
i cried
you weren't there.
i was furious,
you weren't there.
i saw my relationship failing,
you were with her.
