Behind my laugh, behind my smile
Maybe you would know how I truly feel

If only you knew how you inspire me
Make me feel great with your smile

Our similarities how I understand
even the blandest jokes
And laugh anyway

Turn friendships into jealousies,
And break our sacred power between us
Maybe if I weren't so afraid to admit how I feel about you
And I would yell it to the world
