A fragile doll
Upon the shelf
She bares her soul
Yet hides herself

Her heart is scarred
Marked with sorrow and dread
These people passing by
Don’t even turn their head

She’s blank and blends in
To the shadows on the wall
No one’s seemed to notice
That she’s begun to fall

She’s used and tarnished
So hurt and alone
Nothing seems to matter
No one wants her for their own

She’s had her heart broken
By one special boy
The truth in itself is
She’s just a play toy

They play with her feelings
Convince her with lies
Foolish girl that she is
Her whole heart just dies

She’s fading away
Lost up in her pain
She can’t escape reality
She’s going insane

A fragile doll
Such a beautiful sight
What a tragic shame
That she’s dying tonight
