A nation

A nation that has been persecuted,
A nation that has been exiled,
A nation that has been discriminated against,
A nation which now becomes the vile.

A nation built on love,
A nation built on right,
A nation built on kindness,
Now is a nation that starts fights.

The purity of this nation,
Ceases to exist,
For the nation I belong to,
Is full of nothing but hypocrites.

They rally for equal rights,
Yet shun their own sons,
They fight against discrimination,
Yet their own children must run.

They say they love all creatures,
Those big and those small,
Yet condemn some people to hell,
For something biological.

This nation doesn’t understand,
That this life I did not choose,
For who would want this pain?
Worse then a nail forever in your shoe.
