Destined To Be Alone

She stares at the empty space
Never again will he return:
Destined to be alone.
She feels her heart yearn.

Yearn for his touch
And his warm embrace
His sweet loving kiss
And forgiving face.

Her lust is gone
Her smile faded
Life is so hard
Her emotions have been raided.

It consumes her:
Taking her life away.
Making her numb
Will she live to see the day?

Mind going blank
Hands shaking,
Heart races,
Body quaking.

Eyes go lifeless
She's losing control
Depression strikes her dying soul.

Alcoholic beverage
Another one please
Over taken,
She falls to her knees.

Broken faith,
All just a blur
She understands now,
It consumes her,
She is and forever will be destined to be alone.
