I wanted to write a poem about how I felt
about how you treated me
and all the lies that you dealt
but its so hard to say I hate you
when all my heart wants to do is love you
and its so hard to move on
when I really wanna do is tag along
I cant put into words how bad it feels that we always fight
but I can place in words how hard this poem is to write
you see, I wanted to write a poem about the way you make me cry
the way you make me feel second best
and how it always seems like you lie
then I cant seem to forget the smile you put on my face
but then with in some hours
the way that smile is erased
I try to remember the way you looked at me like you meant it
but then I remember the all the wrongs that you wouldn't admit
I wanted to make a poem about the downs more than the ups
because we had more lows than we had highs
I really wanted to write this poem
so you could see things through my eyes
