and I hated you for it.
But you never stopped.
I tried to pushed you away
a little more each day,
but you never left my side.
Blind, oblivious, I didn't see me.
All the lies I told,
I only fooled myself.
The laughter and smiles I faked
seemed real only to me.
But you saw who I was,
more than my charades.
You saw me hiding in the dark.
Your hand reached in,
to pull me out.
I just turned away from you.
But at the bottom I finally saw
that you were there to help.
Now you're gone,
but you saved me,
and I love you more than ever.
