Our life leaves us with memories
As a day leaves with the night
Our life may wave goodbye to us
As the day, long out of sight
Our memories are burdens
Of thoughts we couldnt forget
As the happy times remembered
To sweep away regret
But what about the thoughts
The memories unknown
Those memories forgotten
Do they not have a home?
Those memories of lifes remorse
The jorneys to and from
The memories that drift away
Leave a burden too big for some
But not for me, this home for those
Those memories thus lost
Knock Knock Knock on my wooden door
Come golden thoughts, embossed
Come in with me and fill my life
Make yourself at home
Knock Knock Knock on this wooden door
No longer, are you unkown
