She feels pain when she looks in the mirror.
Cause looking back at her is a young women,
who is hurt; inside and out.
She is abused,
and she abuses drugs and alcohol.
"What is wrong?" she asks.
"What did I do wrong" even more.
She is beautiful, but you can't tell.
Below her dead blank eyes,
she has black shadows from many sleepless nights.
Why is she alone?
Why can no one help her?
She longs for death, pain.
And yet she longs for love.
Everyone in life has abandoned her.
All say she is helpless.
She believes them.
She looks in the mirror,
And wishes.
Wishes for help, but no help.
For love, with no attachments.
For pain, done by herself and others.
For death, but not.
"Should I stay?" she begs herself to answer.
Will she have a happy ending?
She needs help,
but no one will give it to her.
So, for now,
she crashes the mirror,
in hope that the image will go away!
