To far from the start
I'd show you the way
A path to this heart
As these memories slowly fray

I begged you to see
I begged you to stay
I begged you for anything
But I didn't have a say

I looked in your eyes
And I saw it again
With memories forthcoming
As I start to bend

I wanted to tell you
To get it all right
That I'll always love you
even more tonight

I see that your happy
As my body slowly fades
Wasting for something
Dying another day

I'll sit here and wonder
With a cool cigarette
Where is the love?
And did I forget?

I no longer see you
I no lonfer feel
Stole everything of meaning
That I let you steal.

Fogotten the person
That I use to be
Lost all purpose in knowing
Which I painfully see

I wish I could trust you
And push it all away
Tell you "I'm sorry."
In your arms I'd stay

My body is aching
from missing your touch
unable to wonder
Why I loved you so much

Maybe in the future
The path will be seen
I'll walk it so blindly
To make this past of mine clean

And coming to the finish
I'll find what I seek
Find the answers to guestions
That have desperately eludued me.
