Losing A Friend

The cold of your hands,
The pale of your skin,
The darkness in your eyes,
The death sensed all around.

I hear the cries of your parents
and the quiet from all others.
As I look upon you
all the memories come back to.

I remember the sweetness of your hugs,
the pineapple of those foreign candies.
Oh from where were they?
Oh where did you go,
Oh where did the memories go?

Tears, Laughs, Thoughts,
the sweet taste running down my face.
The regret I feel,
I should never have left you
All Along,
so helpless in your despair.
I thought it was safe,
Everyone being careful
Well, I guess not.
Someone must have had too much pot.
I just wish they were shot.

I lost a friend
I guess it was her end.
With all the despair
I’ll come to repair,
But never forget.
