Memories of you float lost in the ocean of my mind
The unjust hand of fate kept us apart for so long
And now you are gone.
You are ever present in my heart, as I love you so
Of these feelings of you I shall never let go.
More and more I remorse to what could have been;
To no end or result.
It pains me so but I wish you well,
Your souls are in heaven forever to dwell.
You lived through war, more terrible than we know
Rest then in peace.
